Shiseido For Men

A few weeks ago I received a product to review form Japanese cosmetics company Shiseido. If you’re unfamiliar with the name, Shiseido are the oldest (founded in 1872) and the 4th largest costmetics company in the world. Shiseido adopt a ‘let the quality and efficacy of our products speak for themselves’ mentality and they most certainly do ‘speak’. So for the last few weeks I put the Shiseido Men’s Total Revitalizer Cream to the test. The cream is unlike most I’ve tried recently in that it’s very lightweight and doesn’t immediately absorb into your skin. But as with most things worth having, patience is the key; rather than trying to force the moisturiser in, massage it gently onto your face and leave the moisturiser to absorb in its own time. The texture is light that you feel like you should apply more but after a couple of days use, you’ll perfect the amount you use. In terms of results, the lightweight nature of the moisturiser allows your pores to breathe which is conducive to clear, blemish free skin. The texture gives your skin a slight radiance, without being too shiny. Not sure how suitable it would be for someone with very oily skin, but certainly for those with dry, slightly oily or normal skin types, I can foresee no problems whatsoever. You’ll find it in selected pharmacies nationwide or online for around €80. If that seems a little steep for a face cream then rest assured that you will see a huge difference after four weeks of use.
